Stressful life puts your well-being at risk. Extreme stress can also result in poor performance of your body and mind. Remember, it can also shrink your ability to think clearly and enjoy life.

Stress management starts with identifying the sources of stress in your life. This isn’t as straightforward as it sounds. While it’s easy to identify major stressors such as changing jobs, moving, or a going through a divorce, pinpointing the sources of chronic stress can be more complicated.

To identify your true sources of stress, look closely at your habits, attitude, and excuses:

· Do you define stress as an integral part of your work or home life or as a part of your personality

· Do you blame your stress on other people or outside events, or view it as entirely normal and unexceptional?

If the answer is yes for the above questions, then it’s sure that you are leading a stressful life. In today’s busy world, one should be well aware of a few stress management techniques.

Remember, failing to manage stress might affects hormones. The two major stress hormones are adrenaline and cortisol. Adrenaline increases your heart rate, raises blood pressure and stresses the cardiovascular system, whereas, Cortisol enhances the blood sugar and glucose level.

One should learn effective stress management techniques to handle stress. It helps to break the stress and lead a happier, healthier, and more productive life.

The most effective and rewarding stress eliminating technique is the meditation. It helps you to recognize your inner self and relax your mind, body, and soul. In addition to meditation, engaging in regular moderate exercises such as walking, yoga or swimming has proven to be the best stress-reducing technique.

The ultimate goal is to lead a stress-free life, which opens the gate for a quality relationship with fun and relaxation. But stress management is not one-size-fits-all. That’s why it’s important to experiment and find out what works best for you.
